What we collect and why

This site has no forms. We only collect data in these cases:

  • Usage metrics. We anonymously measure pages visited, country, device type and browser, language, the site you came from and clicks on contact buttons. We use Umami, hosted on our own server: it uses no cookies, does not store your IP address and cannot identify you. It helps us improve the site.
  • When you message us on WhatsApp, call us or email us. We receive the data you choose to share (for example, name, phone, message and, for doctors, CMP, specialty, ID and stamp). We use it only to reply, arrange bookings and quotes, and register doctors.
  • Preferences stored in your browser. If you change the text size or turn on high contrast, that preference is saved in your browser’s local storage ("csc-a11y"). We also store whether you have seen the assistant tip ("csc-tip"). These are not cookies, never leave your device and you can delete them from your browser.

The virtual assistant runs in your browser: the options you choose are not stored or sent anywhere until you decide to continue on WhatsApp.

Cookies

This site uses no first-party or third-party cookies. That is why we do not show a cookie banner.

The only exception is the map on the contact page: it loads only if you click "Show map". At that point Google Maps may use cookies under Google’s privacy policy.

Third-party services

  • WhatsApp: messages you send us are also governed by WhatsApp’s (Meta) privacy policy.
  • Google Maps: only if you load the map or use the "Get directions" link.

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep contact data for as long as needed to handle your request and meet our legal obligations. Usage metrics are anonymous and aggregated.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and objection by writing to admision@clinicasanclemente.com with a copy of your ID. We will reply within the legal time limits.

If you believe we have not handled your request, you can file a complaint with the National Personal Data Protection Authority of Peru’s Ministry of Justice and Human Rights.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with its update date.
